The brief

After an introduction from our web development and technology partners, JB COLE, Chase de Vere’s Head of Marketing and Business Development, Greg Lambert, approached us in 2021. Looking to add extra capacity to their marketing team to cope with an influx of new projects. They also needed to complement the team with specialised experience across a variety of channels including digital marketing, CRM, SEO, automation and content marketing.

The overall aim of which was to expand their creative capacity so they could continue to diversify and deliver value beyond the expected realms.

04

The role

Our partnership has meant their internal marketing team has drastically expanded their skillset, their service offering has broadened, website traffic has increased and their brand identity has been modernised.

Our ongoing support means that they have been able to maintain momentum with their marketing to stand out in a crowded market whilst paving the way for an exciting upcoming project.

05

The Approach

An initial consultancy project in 2020 saw us work together with Chase de Vere and JB Cole to help the business clarify their customer journey map to improve the customer experience through digital interventions.

This laid the groundwork for a collaborative and flexible relationship, based on clear communication which has resulted in a variety of projects together.

Strengthening the internal function with expert support

One of the main challenges that Chase de Vere experienced was the limited capacity of their existing marketing team.

With opportunities for growth and innovation in their marketing, we wanted to ensure that their team were equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to achieve their full potential. We did so through bespoke training sessions in:

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Copywriting
  • Google Analytics

This ongoing support has not only helped to empower their teams but has expanded the creative capacity of each employee.

A sustainable investment campaign built to succeed

Our second project together was to support Chase de Vere with launching a new sustainable investment service. Head of Marketing and Business Development, Greg Lambert, invited us to help them with this new campaign, which we knew would align with our own internal values.

Our task was to create a multi-channel campaign to launch the service in a way that dynamically articulated its value in order to stand out in a saturated market. To do so, we created:

  • a campaign landing page
  • email marketing and automation
  • social media
  • a content plan
  • lead gen tools
  • collateral
  • paid media campaign across Google, LinkedIn and Facebook

The result? A comprehensive and creative campaign that has led to improved rankings and domain authority, an increase in leads and ultimately, the successful launch of a new service.

A brand evolution to solidify their identity

With 50 years in the industry, Chase de Vere’s legacy is one solidified by their own experience and incredible reputation. Spearheaded by Greg Lambert, 2023 became the year to redefine their value proposition to set the business apart from the crowd. This ignited the need for an evolution of their brand identity to ensure that visually, the brand echoes the core positioning and messaging defined in their new value proposition. Both projects required our team to truly understand the evolution of the company itself, so we could re-establish an identity that builds on existing foundations but breathes new life into messaging and creative whilst reflecting the values that they have always stood for.

The brand refresh was a subtle, yet effective one and included:

  • understated colour changes to add warmth to the colour palette and make the brand feel more human
  • an updated tone of voice to reflect approachability, empathy and experience
  • fresh imagery to reflect the core messaging defined in the new value proposition
  • graphical devices for showcasing statistics, processes, case studies etc
  • an ‘Adviser Toolkit’ giving their team of advisors an accessible online resource to help embed the value proposition more easily
  • redesigned stationery and key collateral in line with the brand evolution
  • new office branding to reinforce their identity across the UK

…and beyond, we were able to modernise the look and feel of the brand, whilst still being recognisable in the market. In 2024 we’ll move onto their digital presence, working with their external development partners to revitalise the Chase de Vere website.

The Outcome

The work that we have done together has meant that Chase de Vere’s marketing activity and business growth has been accelerated:

Campaign success: the sustainable investing campaign not only facilitated and promoted the launch of a brand new service, but also cemented Chase de Vere’s authority in a space of ever-increasing importance.

Brand evolution: our collaborative brand project has modernised the look and feel of the company whilst being consistent with the original brand and messaging.

Internal skills: our ongoing training sessions have meant that Chase de Vere’s internal marketing team have increased capacity to grasp each opportunity to diversify their strategy.

Retained support: our continued retainer work not only takes some of the strain off their internal function, but also means we can deliver copywriting, SEO and digital marketing projects helping to drive leads across each area of the business

Website project: the groundwork that we have laid out means that we are in a position to tackle a huge website project…watch this space.

Search Engine Optimisation: as a result of our efforts, domain authority has increased by six points with a 300% increase in tracked terms in the first three positions of Google SERPS. Not only this, but traffic from organic search increased by 36% in the first six months of activity, with a 20% increase in appointment bookings and 15% increase in total conversions. If that wasn’t enough, articles created and optimised in response to financial changes generated double the traffic within one month.

We can’t wait to see what’s next.
