Georgina brings clarity and strategy to everything she writes. She creates content that feels good to read and gets results. She also supports our copy team, sharing ideas and helping them sharpen their skills. Outside of work, she’s usually deep in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign or fussing over her cat.
My background
I studied English Literature at Hull University. Then I taught English language in schools in Thailand, where I also ran a travel blog and wrote for popular gaming websites, such as Kotaku UK and Games Radar. After that I launched my own copywriting business in 2017. Over eight years, I worked with B2B and B2C clients, helping them achieve their goals with strategic copywriting.
In 2023, I joined MP&Co as Head of Content. I made the move because I missed being part of a team. I also wanted to grow as a trainer and spend more time on strategy, working with clients who care about their values.
I was born in Bradford but have lived in many places across the UK and around the world. I regularly dream of moving back to Thailand! In my free time I love travelling, walking and anything crafty, board games and playing Dungeons & Dragons. I’m also a trainee counsellor and I’m excited to qualify in July 2026.
Language has always fascinated me. It shapes how we see the world and how we connect with each other. Copywriting lets me use that tool with purpose. Whether I’m writing for a global brand or a niche service, the challenge is the same: find the right words to connect with the right people. There’s something quietly satisfying about knowing a few well-chosen lines can shift perspective or help someone make a decision.
Because we work with clients who genuinely give a damn. They want to do good things; they genuinely care and it’s a pleasure to write for them. Which makes it hard to pick a favourite!
I’ll always enjoy writing for our long-term clients. The relationships we’ve built make the work even more rewarding. That said, we get brilliant new opportunities too. Writing for the National Trust was a dream. I’ve been visiting their sites since I was little and have so many happy memories tied to those places. Turns out, they really are wonderful people and it’s been a privilege to partner with them on an impactful project.
My background
I studied History at York University. That’s where I found a love for writing (primarily) long‑form content based on my own topics of interest. I also learned a lot about research and how to truly make a piece my own. A lot of people see their uni dissertation as a huge slog, but I enjoyed trawling manuscripts and census records for niche points. Turning the research into a long piece of text and seeing it on paper was exciting.
My first full‑time job was at a different marketing agency. I began as a Junior Copywriter, and the agency itself focused heavily on e‑commerce marketing – so I was writing ad copy for Meta and Google ads and plenty of email marketing pieces. Over time I shifted from pure copywriting to broader content creation.
I’m from Cheshire, just south of Manchester. In my free time I love exercising, especially running. I’m also an avid cook. Apart from that, you’ll usually find me on the sofa watching sport – I’m a Manchester City fan, Miami Dolphins (#FinsUp) in American Football and I’m a big darts fan.
I feel value in the work I do for our clients. It’s not just “SALE” or “LAST‑MINUTE DEAL” added to everything, which sometimes felt like my previous work was just getting lost in a sea of other copywriters doing the same thing. Now, I feel like the effort I put in is noticeable. The topics I write about, and the clients I write for have an impact.
Creating a detailed, long‑form report for Embrace Digital on tech and automation trends was rewarding. It felt like I was back at uni. Researching topic after topic, finding source after source, building it up into a final piece. It was fab to see the final version and know where the hard work went in.
I also write our newsletters. I like that I can use a more personal tone, and it seems to hit home. Some editions get higher‑than‑average click‑through rates, which tells me people are genuinely interested enough to read more.
My background
I studied Theatre and Contemporary Performance, so storytelling has always been a big part of how I think and work. I love turning real conversations into something shaped and purposeful. That’s where writing feels most rewarding.
I’ve always been drawn to people and the way they express themselves. I like noticing the small stuff and documenting life as it happens. Writing became a way to hold onto those moments and explore them more deeply.
I also have a speech impediment, which made me tune into language differently. Growing up Scouse, surrounded by strong voices and shifting accents, I learned how much the way we speak changes how we’re heard. That shaped how I connect with others and how I write now.
I’m from Liverpool, and I’m proud of it (not just for the football). The city feels different to anywhere else I’ve been. People are open. There’s a strong sense of pride and it’s the kind of place where a quick hello can turn into a full conversation.
Outside of work, I run Good Ground, a business focused on bringing people together. It’s about connection, tackling loneliness, helping people step outside their usual routine and giving them a space where they feel seen and supported.
When I get time off, I try to squeeze in as much as I can. Running is a big one for me, mostly because it justifies a good coffee and something sweet afterwards. I spend a lot of time outdoors, I like to cook and I’m usually up for a quiet pint with friends.
I had been in a few jobs before MP&Co and kept being drawn to the creative side and to picking up copywriting. So, the role felt like a natural fit: an opportunity to develop my skills, and to understand the clients from a different angle through writing.
What I love most about writing for MP&Co is the variety of clients we work with, especially those driven by purpose. Each project feels like a chance to learn something new while getting to know the client more deeply and that connection really matters.
My background
My writing journey started online, first on Tumblr, where I experimented with short posts and blogs, eventually moving into fanfiction across different platforms.
At first, I threw every idea onto the internet just to see what stuck. But during university, I started to shape my writing more intentionally. While studying for my BSc in Marketing at Lancaster University, I began to write with purpose for the first time. I loved the focus that gave me, and how it pushed me to think about storytelling and tone of voice in a more structured way.
My dissertation project, which I completed with MP&Co (read The Purpose Report), showed me how meaningful our work can be when it’s grounded in something good. That project nudged me toward a Master’s in Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Birmingham, where I combined research and strategy with that same sense of purpose.
I’m from Southport (the better seaside town of the North West). Growing up meant running around sand dunes and pine forests… until my moody teen years kicked in and I wanted to sit on the internet all day (full circle moment, maybe).
I spend most of my free time on a wide variety of hobbies; gaming, painting, swimming and baking. I tend to collect a new skill every few months, so currently I’m enhancing my sewing skills by making a ballgown.
Writing has always felt natural to me. I need creativity in my work, but I also need time to recharge. I’ve learned to protect my energy by reading and taking in ideas from other places.
At MP&Co, I love shaping messy ideas into something clear and useful. That moment when the words click into place never gets old.
Emails and newsletters are where I do my best work, especially welcome journeys. They set the tone for the whole customer experience, and I enjoy getting that right.
